The leadership change comes as Mongolia’s largest telecom operator marks its 30th anniversary and pushes deeper into its transformation from a traditional telecommunications provider into a technology-driven company. Beyond core telecom services, the company is expanding into digital financial solutions, life insurance, and AI-powered smart assistant services as it looks to capture new growth opportunities.
With more than 20 years of experience across the telecommunications and technology sectors, including senior roles at KDDI and as Mobicom’s Deputy CEO, Ochi is expected to steer the company’s next phase of innovation and strengthen its role in Mongolia’s evolving digital economy.
