Mongolian information and Communication Operators’ Association is an independent, sovereign, non-profit non-governmental organization, which was established by the initiative of Information and communication service provider operators of Mongolia including Telecommunication of Mongolia, Mobicom Corporation, Skytel, Unitel Information and Commination Network, Skynetworks and Mobicom networks according to the laws and regulations of Mongolia at the beginning of 2018.

Building the industry leadership in the information and communication sector in order to contribute to the development and economic growth of Mongolia, enhancing the digital inclusion (opportunities) and raising to the competitiveness on the world market.

MISSION

Be the industry leader as a professional organization which works towards the efficient, eco (sound) and sustainable growth and development of the Information and Communication sector of Mongolia.

MAIN OBJECTIVES

• Effectively cooperate with the government, policy and regulatory organizations to actively  influence them in reflecting common proposals and recommendations of its members at all stages of the development, approval and implementation of state policies and sector’s regulation (coordination) on information and communication;
• Ensure active participation of all members in enhancing the business environment required for creating efficient, healthy and sustainable growth and development of the information and communication sector, draw real contributions, and coordinate activities;
• Tie up the growth and sustainable development of the information and communication sector with the development of state, social and other economic sectors as well as the state policy, and protect the legitimate, common interests and rights of its members and express a unified position;
• Motivate mutual understanding and cooperation of its members, enhance their capacity,  strengthen the partnerships with the government, society and the private sector by representing its members locally and abroad, and develop foreign relations and cooperation
