Mongolians are a people with their own language, customs, vertical Mongolian script and rich history. Recognition and study of foreign languages and cultures in accordance with the rapid development of technology is a necessity for a “modern” citizen, but we must respect and preserve our mother tongue and vertical Mongolian script and teach them to future generations and children. For that reason, President Battulga Khaltmaa issued Decree No. 46 “On Expanding the Use of Mongolian Writing”. As part of the decree, the president also launched the Mongolian Writing Program to encourage all ages to learn and master national writing.
Communication operators such as Mobicom Corporation, Unitel, Skytel, and GМobile are collaborating on the project, treating it as a part of their social responsibility. With this in mind, each of the first 200 people doing weekly homework will receive a bonus of MNT 5,000 or 1 GB of data from mobile operators. So far, 2000 people have received 9 million nine hundred thirty-five MNT, and four winners will receive mobile phones at the end of 16 classes.
