MICOA Elects New President
The 10th Board Meeting of Mongolian Information and Communication Operator’s Association was held on February 4, 2021, to review the achievement of the goals and objectives of the Association, and to evaluate the results of the activities implemented in 2020. Also, the meeting has intended to discuss the annual action plan for 2021.
The MICOA board has elected the Executive Director of Unitel D.Enkhbat as President of MICOA. The appointment is for one year from Feb 2021 through Feb 2022.
According to the charter of the Association, one of the members of the Board of Directors has been elected as the President of the Association every year on a rotation basis; and the following members worked in the last years: Ch. Enkhmend, CEO of Skynetworks in 2018; Tatsuya Hamada, CEO of Mobicom Corporation in 2019; and D. Narantuya, CEO of Skytel in 2020.
Great gratitude to all the Presidents who have worked together with the MICOA for establishing the leadership in the information and communication sector, ensuring the development and economic growth of Mongolia; achieving the mission of the association as a leading professional organization for efficient, healthy, and sustainable growth; and the development of the unity and mutual understanding of the members, to cooperate and support by the principles of transparency.
